Northbridge Association of Churches

Northbridge Association of Churches NAC encourages all churches in Northbridge to work together to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ

The Northbridge Association of Churches (NAC) was formed in 1978 to share our common ministry from our oneness in Jesus Christ to foster greater understanding, appreciation and cooperation among our Northbridge churches. In the intervening years, the NAC has grown in strength, number of participating churches and frequency of shared activities, worship and projects. The sole means of our financial

support comes through the annual donations given by member churches, each of which is entitled to send clergy and two lay representatives to our monthly meetings. Good cooperation between member churches and lay/clergy participants has allowed us opportunities to be together, love together, learn together and share together. We have learned to focus on that which we can do together, not what divides us, yet discuss and appreciate our differences. God has worked through this unity and enables us to provide the following:

Thanksgiving Eve service
Good Friday service
Easter sunrise service
Baccalaureate Service for Northbridge High School
Ecumenical Vacation Bible School
NAC food pantry & Peace of Bread every Wednesday. Thanksgiving food baskets for those in need
Christmas food baskets and gifts for those in need
Easter food baskets for those in need
Crop Hunger Walk
Collecting coats and warm clothing
Volunteers for the Peace of Bread Community Kitchen and Summer Lunch Program
Ecumenical prayer chain
NAC Emergency Fund
Hymn Sing at nursing homes
Collecting new backpacks and school supplies
Donations to local and worldwide service agencies
Management of the Manosh Scholarship

NAC seeks to encourage all churches in Northbridge to join in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed and in working together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Imagine trying to keep your wife and one year old warm in this weather.
Imagine being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and only having a car to protect you from the cold.
Imagine being a single mom, carrying everything in bags along with your three children ..
These are some of the people in our shelter this week.
Please don’t make us turn them away because we don’t have volunteers to open.
We NEED YOU! www.bvemergencyshelter.org/volunteer
