Our toiletry shelf could use a restock! We're particularly in need of:
-shampoo & conditioner
-toothpaste
-deodorant
-razors
-toilet paper

We could use other personal care and cleaning items like cotton swabs, lotion, disinfecting wipes, dish soap, and laundry detergent too!

Drop off donations on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 12-3 PM. Or send items directly from our wishlist!

This Sunday, August 30, 2026 📚 ✏️ 🍎

Back to School Blessings is the worship theme for the 5th Sunday of August. We will gather in our own sanctuary to mark the seasonal shift for all those associated with education. All society notices this shift as traffic patterns and schedules change. Join us to mark and bless this moment in time. If you are involved in education in anyway, bring a token to be blessed, such as a backpack, briefcase, binder, broom, bandage, whistle, paper, calculator, safety vest, etc.

🧊 As Immigration and Custom's Enforcement (ICE) continues to terrorize communities, separate families, and even kill citizens and non-citizens alike as part of this administration’s mass deportation campaign, there is also increased public scrutiny of this country’s detention center system for migrants.

🧊 In 2025 alone, ICE broke records for the number of people who have died in detention, most often due to the horrific conditions and lack of proper medical care. Since this administration's inauguration in 2025, 52 people have died in detention according to Human Rights Watch—four times that of the previous administration.

📣 Join us to learn from UCC pastors and lay leaders as they share how they've taken action and learn what we can do as people of faith to stop detention and continue to resist this deadly system.

We are a drop off site for the County Diaper Drive.

The annual UWFH Diaper Drive has begun! From now through August 31, drop off your diaper, pull-up, and wipe donations at one of dozens of collection sites scattered throughout Franklin and Hampshire Counties.
