I joined Michael for an overnight sleep study two nights ago. He has some minor surgeries coming up, and they want to know everything about how he’s sleeping. So, after our incredibly kind Technician, Dennis, hooked him up with a million motion, brainwave, and CO2 sensors, Michael and I crawled into bed.

He looked at me straight in the eyes and said, “I. Am. Sad.”
“Why are you sad, buddy?” I asked.
“I. Am. Mad.” was his only reply.
“I would be too, buddy.” I replied.

I gave him a gentle hug, sang “Safely in His Arms” (that Joshua Aaron & I wrote), and he fell asleep for 8 straight hours. Wrapped up like THIS!
Praise the LORD!

The North Western United Methodist Church is having a dedication service on Saturday, May 7th at 4 pm. The short service will celebrate the lighting of the church steeple and “rose” stained glass window. This electrical work was a gift to the church in memory of Merwin “Nip” Jones. All are welcome at the service and at a covered dish dinner that follows at 4:30. Drinks and tableware will be provided.
