The East Suburban SDA Church head elder, Dom, has obtained his Master of Theological Studies degree from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, with a GPA of 3.97. He may have been the first Seventh-day Adventist that has received a graduate degree from this 355 year old seminary in Western Pennsylvania. His specialization is biblical studies with special focus on Old Testament interpretation. His master thesis covers the grain offering in Leviticus.

The Fil-Ams at the East Suburban church is delighted to announce the recent addition of additional Fil-Ams to our church community. With immense joy, we welcome Manny Sr, Lenie & Manny Jr to our spiritual community as our newest members. They bring a radiant spirit, a deep love for God, and a profound dedication to spreading the message of faith, hope, and love. District Pastor Michael Ehm conducted their profession of faith in the worship service.

Our head elder Dom is one of the several National Energy Technology Laboratory researchers who has recently been recognized as among the top 2% of scientists worldwide. See press release: https://netl.doe.gov/node/12151 This is a huge milestone in his 30 plus year scientific career which started way back in 1990 when he was a Ph.D student at Ohio University.
