Open Arms Community Church We offer “A Casual Place for a Serious Faith” in Christ Jesus. http://www.openarmsnt.com/about-us.html Open Arms is a “come as you are” church.

You are welcome to wear whatever clothes you want. Our pastors usually wear jeans. You are welcome to join us no matter where you are in your spiritual journey. You are not required to believe everything we believe in order to worship with us. We have comfortable seating and you are invited to share a cup of coffee or a cold beverage and enjoy some light snacks. You are encouraged to take your foo

d and drinks with you into the Worship Center. Our Music Team consists of guitars, keyboard, harmonicas, and vocalists and they lead us in singing songs that are packed with meaning and are also easy to learn. You are able to decide if you want your children to worship with you or take advantage of our Youth Group and ‘Kids Klub Worship’ on Sundays. You are not expected to give money. If you decide that you like Open Arms and want to make us your spiritual home, then you may give financially to support God’s work through our church. Our aim is to provide a casual atmosphere where all may seriously consider following Jesus. We certainly do not believe that you will be bored! From our opening video to the final song we believe that you will have multiple opportunities to encounter the God who really does love you.

After service on Sunday, July 26th, there will be an informational meeting regarding the parking lot and corresponding work. All are welcome to attend. The lead team will be presenting where we stand and answering any questions that you may have. We look forward to seeing you at Sunday's Service and for the meeting afterwards.

Update on Pastor Jon: This afternoon he began physical therapy. He is still in quite a bit of pain. He has a long road to complete recovery but he is in good spirits.

Update on Pastor Jon: After the previous update stated there wasn’t a timeline for heading home, he has been discharged and is home resting. He and Debbi are not entertaining visitors but he is aware of your prayers and well wishes. Thank you.

Update on Pastor Jon: Doing well and in good spirits. PT has been working with him which is contributing to the pain. No timetable for dismissal yet.

Update on Pastor Jon: The family was able to see Pastor Jon post-surgery. He is currently in the ICU. The pain in his legs has lessened to a degree (from a 9.9 down to an 8 ) and he is able to change positions in the bed. The nurses are very happy with his progress right now but the hope is that the pain will continue to disappear. Thank you for all the prayers and support.

UPDATE ON PASTOR JON: He is out of surgery and currently recovering in the ICU.

UPDATE ON PASTOR JON: Pastor Jon will be heading into surgery today to alleviate his pain. Please continue praying for him and for Debbi.

PRAYER REQUEST: On July 4th at 7am, Pastor Jon was taken via ambulance to ECMC with severe pain and spasms in his legs. He is currently in the Emergency Dept. and the doctors are continuing to run tests to determine the best course of action. Please keep him in your prayers.

We will be testing the live stream tonight. There might be sound, there might not be. Whatever is streaming may jump around "aimlessly", end abruptly or keep playing. It's could be an adventure for the next few days.
