Lambec Music Camp A six-day summer camp for students grades 3–12, praising God through music.

Lambec Music Camp is a six-day summer camp program that is held at Camp Lambec in North Springfield, PA. Its purpose is to spread the Gospel message to students that have completed grades 3 through 12, and give them the opportunity to praise God through choral and instrumental music.

Friends of Music Camp,

What is your best Music Camp memory? For many, it’s the life-long friendships begun or deepened during a week at Music Camp. For some, it was the beginning of their faith journey and the place where Jesus became real. For others, it was an opportunity to enjoy making music with others who loved that art as much as they did. Whatever your best memory – we are so thankful Lambec Music Camp was part of your life.

In 2015, a family at Ken Mawr Church made a memorial contribution that became the Warren Gottschalk Music Camp Scholarship Fund. Since that time, very generous donors have built that fund to allow more kids to come to Music Camp as costs increase. In 2025, 49 campers received scholarships ranging from $100 - $490, for a total of $14,979.50.

This year, Lambec Music Camp will cost $500. Will you help us replenish the fund so that all students who want to come to Music Camp can do so? Every donation helps. Every request is honored.

To donate by mail, please send your check to Ken Mawr United Presbyterian Church, 1760 Pine Hollow Road, McKees Rocks, PA. 15136. Make checks to KMUPC with a notation for Music Camp Scholarship.
