Welcome to the season of Lent. Beginning with Ash Wednesday this previous week, for forty days (excluding Sundays), we walk through a period of examination and reflection as we anticipate the celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. As a church, we are incorporating a Lenten study by J.D. Walt: Jesus Asking. This week, we will begin with the piercing foundational question Jesus asked His disciples: Who do you say that I am? We will be challenged to move beyond knowing about Jesus to truly knowing Him.

So, let's come together this week to worship Him in song, to learn from His Spirit and His Word, and to grow closer together as His people. He is inviting us to come closer and go deeper.

We continue to pray for you. And we ask you to continue in prayer for this church and for those who call this place home. After all, we know that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. So let's get to praying!

We look forward to worshiping with you Sunday!
