Saturday Stewards meets this this Saturday at 9:00am. Our task will be moving wood mulch all around the campus and we are looking for all the help we can get. Start time is 9:00am.

If you are able to come, please bring gloves and if you have it: Shovel, rake, wheelbarrow and similar items.
Even if you are not able to do the physical work, we would still love to have you on hand to cheer on the sweaty people and sip coffee.

Many hands sharing the work will certainly decrease the overall time and effort required to mulch out our gardens.

If we get rained out, we will find indoor work to keep us busy.

Thanks for prayerfully considering this ministry and how you can be a part of it.

There is a direct line from John 3:16 to Matthew 28:16-20, from “For God so loved the world…” to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

It is out of love that God, who is love (1 Jn 4:7-12), sends Jesus into the world. And it is out of love that Jesus, who is the revelation of God’s love (1 Jn 4:9), sends the church into the world.

The Church as the body of Christ, the body of the one who loved and who is love, is commissioned by Jesus and sent into the world to further reveal the love of God.

And as promised we do not go forth alone (Jn 15, Mt 28:20).

It is through the gift of the Holy Spirit that the ministry of the Church, the living, loving body of Christ, becomes possible. For through the Spirit the faithful are gifted (1 Cor 12:1-11). And it is with those gifts that the living, loving body of Christ works to further reveal the love of God in the world.

God so loves the world that he gave his only Son. For the Son so loves the world that he gave his church the Holy Spirit. For the Spirit so loves the world that the Spirit sends us forth to reveal the love of God to the world that God so loves.

There is a direct line from John 3:16 to Matthew 28:16-20, from “For God so loved the world…” to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
