Gary Freeman Entertainment Since 2005 I have sung thousands of shows, hits from the 1900's-1980's (+ a few other years) in senior adult venues throughout the DFW area.

As a co-owner (with my wife Angela) of a local Home Instead franchise for 16 years, it is my shear delight to be in my 21st year of entertaining in senior adult venues...many of them in my Home Instead territory! Whether in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Nursing/Rehab, church senior adult groups, high school reunion groups, etc., I thrill to see residents and patients and staff and seniors in all environments, move or sing along to an old standard that was meaningful to them in decades past, or occasionally be stimulated to request their special song!
My present Gary Freeman Entertainment September schedule has fewer venues than normal due to an eagerly anticipated extended Labor Day vacation with family and some best friends! BTW, if you ever want to attend one of these shows, just show up! A few friends have occasionally done just that without my foreknowledge! Always blows me away! BLESSINGS TO YOU & YOURS!

And here is my schedule for August entertainment! I've created a "Sunshine Show" as a specific request from a senior community, and I'll be singing that show a lot (although not exclusively) this month! Even after 21 years of singing in senior adult venues, I still have requests for new themes; and sometimes, just to keep it interesting and fresh for me, I simply create new show themes which usually pushes me to learn a few new songs!

I have the privilege of entertaining in these senior adult venues in July. The first week, of course, I will present patriotic shows as the USA celebrates 250 years of the signing of our Declaration of Independence...as our forefathers made a bold and costly decision to break away from Great Britain and its monarchy and form a democratic republic, so that supreme power would no longer be vested in a single person, but rather, be held by the citizens and their elected representatives. My orthopedic surgeon told me today my collarbone is healing "perfectly." [I say "HALLELUJAH and thank You, Jesus!] I can now move from range-of-movement PT to strengthening exercises PT, but cannot lift anything above my head for 6 more weeks. Although my sound system speakers may rest on the floor instead of on speaker stands, here are my Gary Freeman Entertainment venues for May:

Because I received a broken collarbone resulting from a traffic incident on 3/27, I have canceled all April singing engagements! (I am presently unable to handle sound equipment.) In short, I was waiting to turn left at a traffic light. When the light turned green, I advanced and was hit on my driver's side by someone speeding through a red light. My Home Instead car was totaled. X-ray at ER showed the fractured left clavicle. Brain scan revealed nothingšŸ˜œ, but I likely suffered a slight concussion. Because the collarbone break is near the shoulder, I will have surgery on Monday, 4/6, adding metal and screws to hold it together properly. Will appreciate healing prayers! By God's grace I intend to return singing the week of May 11. Happy Resurrection Day! To God be the glory, great things He has done!
