“For if we would JUDGE OURSELVES, we should not be judged.” 1 Corinthians 11:31
The Lord gives EVERY BELIEVER space for self correction. If we ignore The Word AND the promptings of The Holy Spirit, over time we subject ourselves to reaping the fruit of seeds we’ve sown. God is not mocked. Galatians 6:7-8.
Many Believers sit in judgment over others and forget to judge themselves 🤔 Many also sit in judgment over others who have already judged themselves; a very dangerous thing to do!
Folks, we need to be honest, drop our pride and DEAL WITH OURSELVES! That’s difficult for some because it requires repentance and even going back and correcting ourselves for where WE WERE WRONG! How novel!
Each of us needs to-recognize::
1. Whose we are! We belong to The Lord, not
ourselves!
2. Who we are (in Christ)!
3. Why we are here!
4. Where we belong!
Many today are “following the crowd!” That, my friends, will cause you trouble! When we give account to The Lord, we will have to answer for ourselves; NO ONE ELSE WILL BE SUCCESSFULLY USED AS OUR EXCUSE FOR BEING OUT OF PLACE! BEING MORE CONCERNED WITH SOMEONE ELSE’S OPINION RATHER THAN THE LORD’S IS IDOLATRY! Your allegiance is divided and you will never be at peace!
I love each of you; all my brothers and sisters. That is why I’m not afraid to say “the hard things.” I care more about your welfare and what The Lord thinks about me than I care about the opinions of others. Loves, likes, etc: none of that motivates this “vessel of honor.” We each should make that decision.
Every one of us is precious in the sight of The Lord! 🏆
