Pines Community Bible Church

Pines Community Bible Church Pines Community Church was founded in 1945 by Thawley and Virginia Holmes. It had many pastors in its long history and ceased operations in 1991.

The Pines Community Church was an Evangelical, Reformed, Bible Church located in what was once the northern suburbs of Rockville, Maryland, called Travilah, and later became North Potomac, Maryland. The church operated under the name of North Potomac Bible Church after that time. Developers slowly bought up most of the Travilah land and homes and tore down the homes to replace them with multiple larger houses, and the community of Pines ceased to exist.
