If we are honest with ourself, we will discover that our struggle is not always warfare as we suppose. It sounds spiritual to say so but in reality it's a cover-up for what we don't want to confront in our life and others to see.
Instead it's easier to convince ourselves and others that we must be doing something right that the enemy is threatened yet deep down in our spirit we know we ain't right. A divine revelation is not required to know that we have strayed from the narrow path. However, guilt and shame along with pride will keep us from receiving healing and deliverance. We rather live with our hidden turmoil than acknowledge and reach out for help in fear of damaging our reputation or what other's think.
Ultimately, the choice must be made. We can either carry on pretending to be blessed and highly favored or we can recognize and respond to God's shaking to realign us back to Him and His ways and genuinely walk in His Blessings and Favor!
We can either shout "ouch and amen" and surrender to God or we can scroll by with the attitude "that ain't me" when you clearly know it is because the sting of offense hit you...
Don't let the enemy continue to deceive you and keep you in your mess. Instead allow God to intervene and turn you into a message for others to receive!! God loves you and that's why He will disrupt your scrolling and get your attention!
Blessings,
First pride, then the crash—the bigger the ego, the harder the fall. - Proverbs 16::18 The Message
