Hello North Pomfret Church community and friends,
Welcome to September and all of the changes this month ushers in. Children are headed back to school and young people are transitioning into new educational or work opportunities. The crush to harvest and preserve the garden bounty is in full swing. The fullness of our days has begun to slow as daylight hours decline. We are checking our closets for cool weather garments that might need cleaning, mending, replacing, or donating. The rhythm of Creation is a rhythm of ongoing change. But our Creator remains constant come what may. God’s care for us is steadfast whether our days are long or short, warm or cool, busy or calm. And all is well.
Faithfully,
Pastor Rhonda

North Pomfret Church Sunday worship at 10AM at the church. Respiratory illnesses abound this time of year. Please feel free to mask in the sanctuary, according to your own threshold for safeguarding your health, and to protect the health of those around you. Audio recordings of recent scripture readings and sermons are posted on our website: https://www.vtnorthpomfretchurch.com/
Deacons The deacon’s receive donations on the first Sunday of every month for local benevolence. Thank you for your generosity in supporting your neighbors.
