Hello North Pomfret Church community and friends,
As the school year comes to an end, many children will no longer have daily access to breakfast and lunch. A good old PB&J remains a nutritious and easy to prepare option for kids. Our focus donation to the Haven this month is jams and jellies. Can you help by bringing a few jars to church in the coming weeks?

Blessings and peace,
Pastor Rhonda

Hello North Pomfret Church community and friends,
At North Pomfret Church we celebrate the sacrament of communion on the first Sunday of each month. Our congregation comes from a variety of backgrounds and different experiences of church. Therefore communion carries a different personal meaning for each of us. But it is something that we also cherish in common. Whoever you are and wherever you are on your faith journey, we welcome you to join us.

Hello North Pomfret Church community and friends,
Strengthen the Church (STC) is one of five special mission offerings that we receive each year at North Pomfret Church to support the wider settings of our UCC denomination. This is how we live into our covenant with other churches like ours, to maintain a faithful presence and serve our communities. You can learn more about STC from this video by clicking here. We will receive this year’s Strengthen the Church offering at our May 24th service.

Blessings and peace,
Pastor Rhonda

May 6, 2026

Hello North Pomfret Church community and friends,
Mother’s Day weekend is upon us once again. Mothering is fierce and tender work borne with patience and strength. Of course one day each year is not enough to honor and celebrate all those who fill a mothering role in our lives. So let us thank God everyday for the people who have nurtured and encouraged us, corrected and redirected us, defended and protected us. And let us also hold space for those who, for many painful reasons, may be struggling with by the reminders of this day.

Blessings and peace,
Pastor Rhonda
