A word or two from our Bishop Scott. Enjoy!

Bishop Barker offers a letter of encouragement to Nebraska Episcopalians as we continue to work hard at doing the right thing in the face of COVID-19. He writes, "In Advent, Jesus’ disciples are invited to watch and wait. To my mind there has never been a clearer or deeper connection between this annual seasonal work and our larger lives as followers of Christ than right now. If we would continue to do the difficult and essential work of being the Church by loving our friends and neighbors, we will continue, for just few more months, to wait for all those things we’ve done without since last March."

The reassuring and peaceful words of the service offer a pathway to quiet the mind and settle the soul at the end of a busy day. Connect with us and create community through this simple but elegant form of prayer.
