With arms wide open this Lenten weekend, we invite any and everyone to come worship with us, and listen to the phenomenal Pastor Andre Bennett. He has been helping to regularly fill our pulpit off and on since 2023 with more than 20+ years of experience in multiple communities, a deep involvement with the youth and as the founder of Zion Youth and Young Adults Development and Enrichment Association (ZYYDEA). He's a popular one here, and not one to miss.

We came across a beautiful picture of our loving church, before any of the back addition and then preschool were added. This picture captures the history of faith and perseverance for the past almost 188 years. What a blessing it is to still be here, and a loving reminder that our love for Christ and our community will always endure.

Here at First Baptist Church of North Oxford, we are blessed with a community of helping others. Each year, Jack and Jill Preschool teams up with a local Savers and holds a clothing drive in which gently used clothing you no longer want, and even household items may be donated! A wonderful team of J&J parents takes care of the rest! Please consider taking this opportunity to let go of things that may no longer serve you, but would be a gift to others.

Each year, our Jack and Jill Preschool holds a Butterbraids Fundraiser - if you haven’t tried these, you must! These are available to order right online, and will be delivered to the church on 11/15/23 where you can pick them up. You need to act fast, though, as this only happens once a year!
