Just a quick reminder about our Humanitarian Project to collect men’s, women and children’s socks and stocking caps for the homeless. Let’s see how many we can get by December 4th to warm the souls and hearts of those in need. These can be donated at church on Sunday or given to anyone on the committee. Thanks for your help!

On Nov. 1st at 6:30 in the Relief Society room we will be making fleece blankets for children in foster care in the Ogden area. Each blanket, "My Very Own Blanket", will have a label on it that the child can write his or her own name on and a place for you to write your first name and an area for you to give them a personal note of love or encouragement. These are super easy to make and so fun to do.

Also, starting now and continuing through Dec. 4th we are collecting stocking caps and socks for men, women and children. These can be turned in to anyone on the committee or put in the container outside the Relief Society room on Sunday. Yarn will be available on Sunday or from Irene at any time (801 866 2368). Please join us for an evening of fun and service.

Just a heads up, Sisters. Our Turtle Shelter Project is coming up fast (Tues. Oct 4th at 6:30). We are making insulated vests for the homeless. Everyone is invited - even if you have not signed up. There will be something for everyone to do, (marking, cutting, pinning and sewing). We also want to donate as many stocking caps as we possibly can, sooo, if you can crochet, please help us! You can pick up yarn from Irene if you need it.

Tomorrow night (Sept 6th) at 6:30 we will have our Humanitarian night. You will be able to choose between 3 projects - staining wooden blocks to make kits for underserved children (wear old clothes or bring an apron), tie a quilt for the Humanitarian Center in Salt Lake or crochet (or learn to crochet) stocking caps to be donated to the Turtle Shelter Project that we will be doing next month (bring a H or an I hook). We will have yarn, or you can bring your own. Please join us for a fun evening of service. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!
