I miss my friend Terry. Though I had only known him a few years, I am not sure that I have ever met anyone else in my life who praises God through the good times and the rough times the way Terry did. He believed that each moment he was given was for a purpose, and he sought to be a witness to those around him. He saw the good in people, and sought to understand people. He was an encourager. When life could be so overwhelming, I never saw his spirit or his trust or joy in the Lord dampen. I respected, admired, and liked him so very much!

I thank God that I had the opportunity to know and be impacted by His wonderful child, Terry.

This group of singers move me each time that I hear them sing. Not sure why so much, but I absolutely am moved by them. I recently came across this song that they wrote....

I was never sure there is a right time to share this song. Even this morning, I chose to pass on playing it, but none the less, it is beautiful, and probably better to share this way.

This song moves me every time I hear it, breaks my heart, and heals my heart too. I was surprised the day that Mr. Terry chose it as well. Makes me cry every time I hear it, so I won't listen today. Too many tears already.

Same for this one, not sure if Mr. Terry leaned on this song as much as I have, but I know how he leaned and looked to God ALL the time.

Ok, I don't know for sure if Mr. Terry loved this song like I do, but his relationship with God was always to praise and know that God is always Great and there for us even in the hard times.

As I suspected, whether I played these during service or shared on Facebook, I would find myself emotional fearing that our time with Mr. Terry was drawing closer to the end.

As we worked together over the past couple of years with Charlotte on music for the church, I learned that we tended to like the same style of song and the same voice preferences too though this one was a bit more Terry than me :) though we both liked the song a lot.

I had set aside a set of songs for my friend Terry for when he next was able to come to church, but he has gone on to heaven, and I was not able to play them in church for him. I know how well he liked these songs. We know that Terry is singing in heaven, but I can only imagine the sadness and loss his family is feeling now.
