To the Newberry Family, The Gospel Keynotes, Friends, and the Quartet Community,
It is with a deeply heavy heart that I extend my sincerest condolences on behalf of myself, Lady Des, host of Quartet Sensations and Quartet Wives. The passing of Mrs. Cassandra Newberry, coming just six weeks after the passing of her beloved husband, Mr. Jeffrey Newberry, has truly shaken our hearts and left a profound void in our community.
When I first envisioned the segment “Quartet Wives,” it was birthed from a desire to spotlight the courageous, strong, praying and supportive wives of Quartet...women who are often overlooked but play such a vital role behind the scenes. The Newberrys were the very first couple I shared this vision with, and without hesitation, they believed in it and jumped on board. That trust meant more to me than words can express.
It was an absolute honor to be welcomed into such a personal and sacred space of their lives. I am forever grateful for their openness, their authenticity, and their continuous love and support. Their kindness, encouragement, and genuine spirits will never be forgotten.
To the Newberry Family, The Gospel Keynotes, dear friends, and the entire Quartet community...we mourn alongside you in this great loss of two extraordinary lives, now reunited in eternity. Their legacy, love, and impact will continue to live on through every life they touched. Mrs. Cassandra, you spoke often and passionately about your unwavering love for your husband, and now there is comfort in knowing that you are together again...resting in God’s eternal peace.
