Our AWANA program has grown so much—praise God for this growth! 🙌💙 And with more kids comes the need for more volunteers to help lead them as they learn, grow, and hide God’s Word in their hearts! 📖
We’d love for YOU to come serve with us in Kids Ministry on Wednesday nights!

Join us this Sunday in our 1st-5th Grade connect groups as we dive in to a brand new theme for the month of September, "I am Valued". This week we will be learning about how God made me with WORTH! We will be reading God's truth from Matthew 19:13-15 and Mark 10:13-16. Come learn with us about how Jesus teaches we are so loved & so valued by God!! We can't wait to see you there!!

A couple of weeks ago, we had the BEST time at our Back to School Bash Family Event at Splash Zone in Jacksonville! 🌊 We loved spending the evening making memories, having fun, and enjoying sweet fellowship with our CBC families. 💙

A special thank you to Jeff Fairchild for generously providing Johnny Freeze treats for our families! 🍧 We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity!

Mark your calendars for our next CBC Kids Family Event!! Come join us for a Back to school Bash at the Splash Zone in Jacksonville (201 W. Martin St.) Friday, August 21 from 7-9pm. We have rented the place out for our event, Drinks & snacks will be provided! Bring the whole family out for some fun as we kick off the new school year!

We’re so excited for our CBC Kids/Family back to school bash at the Splash Zone this Friday, August 21! ☀️💦 We can’t wait to spend some time together as families, eat snacks, and enjoy some fun in the water as we kick off a new school year!

And we have a little something special for our kids! 🎒❤️

We’ll have Back-to-School Blessing Bags available for each child to pick up on their way out of the water park. These bags are filled with a few fun items, but each one was chosen with a Scripture reminder and purpose behind it:

🫧 Pop-It — A reminder to press on and press into Christ, even when life gets difficult.
📖 Philippians 3:13–15

💧 Water Bottle — A reminder to be filled with God’s strength, power, and presence each day.
💪 Ephesians 6:10

🥨 Salty Snack — A reminder that we are the salt of the earth and can make a difference wherever God places us.
🌎 Matthew 5:13–16

💚 Bracelet — A reminder that God loves you and you are His child.
❤️ Luke 18:16

🏷️ Backpack Tag — A little reminder they can hang on their backpacks to carry God's truth with you wherever you go!

Our prayer is that these simple gifts will be more than just fun back-to-school items—they will give our kids little reminders of God's Word to carry with them throughout the school year. We want every child to know that as they head into a new year, God is with them, God loves them, and they can trust Him in every situation!!
