Jesus told him, **“One thing you lack…”** because there was still something in his heart he was unwilling to surrender.

What are you still holding onto that is keeping you from going deeper, obeying fully, and following Jesus without reservation?

PEOPLE OF GOD DON'T LET THIS GO OVER YOUR HEAD, DO NOT MISS WHAT JESUS DECLARED! He did not say, “I was.” He said, “I AM.”

Before Abraham — **HE WAS.**
Before Bethlehem — **HE WAS.**
Before the cross — **HE WAS.**

JESUS CHRIST IS ETERNAL. HE IS THE SON OF GOD. THE FIRST BORN FROM THE DEAD. HE IS LORD.

✝️ THE CROSS WAS NEVER JUST SOMETHING TO WEAR — IT WAS THE PRICE OF OUR REDEMPTION.

Jesus didn’t go to Calvary to give us a symbol. He shed His blood, gave His life, and rose again so that we could be forgiven, restored, and reconciled to God.

Never become so familiar with the cross that you forget what it cost.

THE HOUR HAS COME!

Jesus was not caught by surprise. He was walking in **divine purpose, divine timing, and divine obedience.** When He said, **“Father, the hour has come,”** He was declaring that the moment appointed by heaven had arrived.

⚠️ CHURCH, HEAR THIS: There comes a time when prophecy must be fulfilled, purpose must be walked out, and God must be glorified no matter the cost.

Jesus was not seeking His own glory apart from the Father — **the Son came to reveal the Father, obey the Father, and glorify the Father!**

THIS IS THE HOUR TO STOP PLAYING WITH PURPOSE. THE HOUR HAS COME TO OBEY GOD, GLORIFY CHRIST, AND WALK IN WHAT HEAVEN HAS ORDAINED!

CULTURE MAY CHANGE, BUT GOD’S WORD DOESN’T.

We cannot change the message just because the truth becomes uncomfortable. The Word must still be preached, taught, and proclaimed—even in a generation that would rather hear what satisfies the ear than what transforms the heart.
