🎄 Freedom Connection Christmas Dinner This Weekend! 🎄

Saturday (6:15pm) and TODAY, Sunday (11:30am), we’re gathering for one purpose: fellowship.

No lesson… just a holiday meal together with people who understand the recovery journey.

Healthy relationships are a huge part of recovery, and there’s nothing better than sharing a meal and connecting with others walking the same road.

Come to the Saturday night church service (5:00pm) or the 10:00am service on Sunday, then join us afterward!

If you’re part of Freedom Connection, or you’ve been thinking about coming, this is the perfect weekend to start.

Come eat, laugh, and spend time with people who care. You’re invited.

Freedom Connection is a Connection Class at First NLR that compliments our mission at Forever Free - Developing an intimate, abiding relationship with Jesus while applying the 12 Steps in our lives, in order to be free of our wounds, struggles, and setbacks.

Join us at 6:15pm at First NLR in the Senior Ministry Center for some dessert, great coffee, and recovery.

I posted this prayer a few years ago. I think it is very appropriate for the season we are in. I want to encourage you all to pray this prayer every morning.

I pray for our nation. I pray for healing of our land, that regardless of our political affiliation, we can agree to come together as brothers and sisters and pray for one another, our leaders, and every citizen (or noncitizen). Heal our land Jesus. Unify us. Remove our animosities and replace them with love. Let us see each other as children of God, with the same blood flowing in our veins. We have your DNA, because you created us. Your greatest attribute is love. Let us exhibit that attribute. Unite and heal our land. We love you, God. Thank you for healing our nation.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
