Good morning, I have an important correction to share. My previous post announcing the IHM Living Stations contained an error. Living Stations will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, April 2nd, in the gym instead of outdoors, as rain is expected.

Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Upcoming Holy Week Schedule of Events

Wednesday, April 1 —Live Stations at 2:15 pm.
Soup Supper in the Parish Life Center from 5:30–6:30 p.m. Following supper, at 6:30 pm we will pray Tenebrae: A Lenten Service of Light and Shadow, a moving way to enter more deeply into the mystery of Holy Week.

Thursday, April 2 — Live Stations of the Cross at 2:15 p.m. Join us for the Live Stations of the Cross, presented outdoors on the IHM campus grounds. This powerful reenactment invites us to walk with Christ on His journey to Calvary.
Holy Thursday – Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m.
Holy Thursday begins the Sacred Triduum with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m. This beautiful liturgy commemorates Jesus’ gift of the Eucharist and His example of humble service. The celebration includes the Washing of Feet, the transfer of the Eucharist to the Altar of Repose, and a time of quiet adoration.

Following Mass, Adoration will continue in the Parish Life Center until midnight, where the Altar of Repose will be kept. Adorers are needed, and all are warmly invited to spend time in prayer with the Lord.

Good Friday – Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m.
We will pray the Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m., entering into the Lord’s Passion with the whole Church.

Good Friday – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 7 pm
Good Friday is a solemn day when the Church gathers to remember the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. The service includes the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion, inviting us into a deep reflection on Christ’s sacrifice for us.

Easter Vigil – Saturday, April 4th at 8 p.m.
The Easter Vigil is the high point of the Church year, beginning in darkness and bursting into the light of Christ’s Resurrection. This beautiful liturgy includes the Blessing of the Fire, the Easter Proclamation, the Liturgy of the Word, and the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation for our catechumens and candidates. It is a powerful and joy‑filled way to enter into Easter.

Easter Sunday – April 5th
Masses at 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

Join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord on Easter Sunday with Masses at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

This weekend, we celebrate Palm Sunday of the Passion of our Lord. We begin with joy, lifting our palms just as the crowds welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem. Yet in the same liturgy, we hear the story of His Passion—a reminder of His deep and self‑giving love for each of us. Palm Sunday holds both Hosanna and the Cross, inviting us to walk with Jesus as we enter Holy Week. May this sacred time draw us nearer to His mercy, His strength, and His unfailing love.
A special thank you to our Altar Society, who will be making the palm crosses that will be used at all Palm Sunday Masses this weekend. They will meet Saturday at 9:00 AM in the Parish Life Center cafeteria — and everyone is invited to come help! May this Holy Week draw us closer to Christ and to one another as a parish family.
Receive your palm cross at each Mass this weekend! For the 5 PM and 8 AM Masses, palms will be available in the church vestibule. Please pick one up and bring it into the sanctuary with you. These palms are not yet blessed—Fr. Jack will bless them during Mass. The 10:30 AM Mass will begin in the Parish Life Center gym with the blessing of the palms, followed by a procession to the church. For anyone who prefers not to process, our ushers will bring blessed palms from the gym to the church and distribute them to all who would like one.We look forward to celebrating Palm Sunday of the Passion of our Lord with you.
