Upcoming Holy Week Schedule of Events
Wednesday, April 1 —Live Stations at 2:15 pm.
Soup Supper in the Parish Life Center from 5:30–6:30 p.m. Following supper, at 6:30 pm we will pray Tenebrae: A Lenten Service of Light and Shadow, a moving way to enter more deeply into the mystery of Holy Week.
Thursday, April 2 — Live Stations of the Cross at 2:15 p.m. Join us for the Live Stations of the Cross, presented outdoors on the IHM campus grounds. This powerful reenactment invites us to walk with Christ on His journey to Calvary.
Holy Thursday – Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m.
Holy Thursday begins the Sacred Triduum with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m. This beautiful liturgy commemorates Jesus’ gift of the Eucharist and His example of humble service. The celebration includes the Washing of Feet, the transfer of the Eucharist to the Altar of Repose, and a time of quiet adoration.
Following Mass, Adoration will continue in the Parish Life Center until midnight, where the Altar of Repose will be kept. Adorers are needed, and all are warmly invited to spend time in prayer with the Lord.
Good Friday – Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m.
We will pray the Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m., entering into the Lord’s Passion with the whole Church.
Good Friday – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 7 pm
Good Friday is a solemn day when the Church gathers to remember the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. The service includes the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion, inviting us into a deep reflection on Christ’s sacrifice for us.
Easter Vigil – Saturday, April 4th at 8 p.m.
The Easter Vigil is the high point of the Church year, beginning in darkness and bursting into the light of Christ’s Resurrection. This beautiful liturgy includes the Blessing of the Fire, the Easter Proclamation, the Liturgy of the Word, and the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation for our catechumens and candidates. It is a powerful and joy‑filled way to enter into Easter.
Easter Sunday – April 5th
Masses at 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
Join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord on Easter Sunday with Masses at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass, children 10 and under are invited to participate in our Easter Egg Hunt on the parish grounds — a joyful way to continue the celebration of Easter morning.
