Today marks the close of another season in the life of our church. The “old” church property officially sold today.

It’s a bittersweet moment. For nearly 23 years, that place was more than a building. It was where we gathered to worship, where prayers were prayed, lives were changed, families grew, tears were shed, laughter filled the halls, and countless memories were made. God used that place in ways we may never fully know this side of eternity.

At the same time, we are excited about what God is doing where He has planted us now. We believe He has brought us into this new season for a purpose, and we look forward with anticipation to all that He still has in store.

But moving forward doesn’t mean we don’t grieve what we leave behind. Today, we give thanks for almost 23 years of ministry in that place, for every person who walked through those doors, and for every way God showed Himself faithful there.

The building may belong to someone else now, but the ministry God accomplished within those walls will always be part of the story of our church.

We’re grateful for where we’ve been, thankful for where God has brought us, and trusting Him with wherever He leads us next.

We’re excited to announce something NEW at Park View Baptist Church!

Beginning Wednesday, September 2, we’re launching our FREE Wednesday After-School Program for kids!

Every Wednesday from 3:00–6:00 PM, kids will have a safe, fun, and encouraging place to spend the afternoon with:

• Homework help as available
• Snacks
• Virtual Reality (VR)
• PlayStation 5
• Music & games
• Bible lessons
• Friends and fun
• Caring adult supervision

Our goal is to give kids a place where they can have fun, build friendships, get some homework done, and most importantly, learn biblical truth and know that they are loved.

There is NO COST to participate!

The VR & PS5 room has been a HUGE hit during Kid Olympics! The kids are having an absolute blast, and the excitement keeps growing every week!

There’s still time to join the fun! We have just 3 Wednesdays remaining, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

When school starts, the fun doesn’t stop! We’ll transition to our Wednesday After-School Program from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with games, activities, friends, and an awesome place for kids to spend their afternoon.
