Last week was full of Bees, Bats, and BIG Decisions. Our Students traveled to The Bogg to learn more about God, His Word, and how to follow Jesus with ‘No Filter’. We especially want to think and The Lane Long Band for bringing incredible messages leading in fantastic worship all week!! We already can’t wait for The Bogg 2023!!!

PRAY // Hands in the air. Lights out. Loud music. That’s worship, right? Well, sometimes. But worship is also a lot more than just singing. True worship involves all of our lives and all of who we are—not just our voices. If we really want to worship God, we need to pay attention to what we do with our lives and even our bodies. If a dating relationship ever prevents you from honoring and worshipping God with your body, that’s a big deal and a major red flag in that relationship. One huge way to worship God is to commit your dating life to Him. Today, pray and tell God that you want to honor Him with your body, and then set boundaries to make sure you’re honoring Him—and yourself—from this day forward.

PRAY // The word “idol” may bring a mental picture of golden statues and weird sculptures surrounded by candles. And this is sometimes true. But in our modern culture, an idol can take a different form. An idol is anything that takes priority in your heart over God. So, an idol could be a boyfriend, girlfriend, sport, hobby, friend, ACT score, or even yourself. What do you spend most of your time, money, and energy on? Is there anything you’ve unintentionally made an idol in your life? Today, ask God to help you prioritize and trust in Him over any other person or thing in your life.
