“My Tag Read Hopeless” —
Guest Pastor Chris Dernier
📖 Psalm 91:14–15

Yesterday we were reminded that hopeless is never the final word when God is in the story.

When circumstances say there’s no way, when the answer hasn’t come, and when you can’t see what’s ahead—there is still HOPE!

God says, “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him…”

Whatever “tag” life has tried to place on you, God has the power to change the story.

“They That Hunger and Thirst” — Pastor Rob Jones
📖 Matthew 5:6

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

Spiritual hunger keeps us praying, pursuing, growing, and reaching for more of God. Don’t allow ease to steal your appetite for the things of God!

The week gets busy. Our minds get distracted. Our children are surrounded by voices competing for their attention.

Midweek gives us an opportunity to stop, refocus, and put God back at the center.

“Casualties of Ease” — Pastor Rob Jones

📖 Amos 6:1–7

Yesterday we were challenged with a powerful warning: “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion…”

There is a danger in becoming too comfortable.

When we stop pressing, stop praying, stop growing, and stop pursuing the things of God, ease can quietly turn into complacency. We can become satisfied with where we are and lose sight of where God is calling us to go.

As we begin this week, let’s refuse to simply take it easy spiritually.

🔥 Keep praying when it would be easier to coast.
🔥 Keep showing up when it would be easier to stay home.
🔥 Keep serving when it would be easier to sit back.
🔥 Keep pursuing God when it would be easier to become comfortable.
