The AIRR Tech Team brought out their time clocks and scissors to measure and trim a new web page on the astrological symbolism of the planet Saturn, who is venerated as the ruler of agriculture, patrimonies, and legacies, and is the father of Jupiter. Saturn's astrological outlook is generally negative, insofar as limitations and crushing burdens are not beneficial to life, and it is therefore referred to as the greater malefic. Catherine Yronwode created the page, with contributions from Papa Newt and Nagasiva Yronwode. Nagasiva sourced the art by Tristan3D, AnnaHoly, Ivan Akimov, and an Unknown Artist; Papa Newt and Catherine did site-wide linking; and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. The AIRR Tech Team assembled their lion-taming gear today to present Strength -- the ninth in our series of 22 informative web pages on the Tarot Trumps or Major Arcana. Also known as "Fortitude," this card depicts a woman with a figure 8 above her head subduing a Lion, whom she has leashed with a chain of roses. This trump is the embodiment of the zodiacal sign Leo, the Lion, and signifies power, energy, action, courage, and magnanimity, as well as the classical concept of the gentling force exerted by women upon men. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page with contributions by Papa Newt and Nagasiva Yronwode. The images are by Pamela Colman Smith, courtesy of Hoodoo Psychics, and Oswald Wirth, courtesy of Thom Rose, and were photo-edited by Nagasiva.
