We lost some wonderful people yesterday and would like to acknowledge their contributions they made to the world.
There is so much hate in the world, but yet, there are many people such as Dolly Parton ( ZT"L ) and Tim Curry (ZT"L )who show that love and support is the only way to conquer those who oppose religious and personal freedom.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has inspired Sifriyat Pijama: Sifriyat Pijama: Parton's Imagination Library program—which mails free books to children—inspired Harold Grinspoon to create PJ Library in North America and the similar Sifriyat Pijama (Pajama Library) program in Israel, which distributes Jewish-themed books to children.

Tim Curry took a different approach, and often gave charity anonymously to many. This is called matan b'seter (giving in secret) and is considered the highest form of giving.

Both are wonderful examples of Tikuun Ha’Olam, repairing the world. Which also is spoken about in the Talmud.
In layman’s terms, they are menschim.

We mourn their loss and the tremendous contributions they have made to the world.
The only way to fight hate is to be like Ms Dolly and Sir Tim.
Be a mensch, and as the Hard Rock Cafe says
“Love all, Serve all.”
May there be many more in the future of their kind, both known and unknown.
