North Haven Congregational Church participated in the Town of North Haven's Semiquincentennial celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, organized by the North Haven Historical Society. The celebration was held July 19, 2026 coinciding with the date 250 year earlier when news of the declaration of independence reached North Haven. The North Haven Congregational Church rang it's bell, had a table with information and artifacts of it's more than 300 years in North Haven and offered tours after the event. God bless the U.S.A.

Join us on our town green Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. for our town's 250th celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Visit the North Haven Congregational Church, we will have a table on the green, and also offer tours of our church after the event. Did you know that our church has been in North Haven for over 300 years? We were founded in 1716. Did you know our first church building was on the green? Our worship services are Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Join us. All are welcome.
