The Food Pantry will be in Gibson Park on Saturday, August 8 for the Non-Profit Saturday. Stop by and chat with us about the pantry. We will have a donation bin out if you feel so inclined, or you may possibly want to bring by an item that we can use. We always need peanut butter, cereal, mac & cheese, any kind of pasta and sauce. Hope to see many of you.

Good warm afternoon. This is just a reminder to Food Pantry clients that your applications are due with your next pick up....Saturday will be those with last names beginning A - L. If you have not received an application, we know that.....and you will.
Keep cool and be patient, it will still be quite warm on Saturday.

Just a reminder that this Thursday, June 25 will be the 2nd donation day at the food pantry. I missed getting the blurb into the North East News-Journal this past week but letting you know I will still be there. Same hours as usual, 2-4 PM. The donations have been great and much appreciated. The upcoming request will be for Progresso and Campbell Chuncky cans. See you on Thursday.

Good morning. This is just a reminder that the pantry is CLOSED this Saturday, May 30. This is the 5th Saturday of the month and we are always closed on any 5th Saturday. We will be serving those with last names beginning A - L on Saturday, June 6.

We have some Similac, jarred baby food and cereal at the pantry that we would like to help anyone who can use it. You do NOT have to be a client of ours to receive these items. Right now, we have a limited number of families with babies who use the pantry but we know there are many of you out there who may be struggling and could use some help. You can some on our distribution times on Saturday (9:30-11), call us (814) 725-9470, or message us here to set up a time to meet. Again, this is open to anyone who can use it.

Good morning. This week we start the month of May at the pantry. You will be served by Immanuel Methodist Church and other volunteers who are stepping in to help. Our hours remain the same, 9:30-11:00 AM. The service dates also remain the same: If you last name begins A - L you are served the 1st and 3rd Saturday. If you last name begins M - Z you are served the 2nd and 4th Saturday. If you are not able to make your scheduled date due to illness, emergency, etc., please make every effort to call the pantry before Friday so that we can pack extra bags if needed ahead of time when you do get served. Our number is 814-725-9777. Donation Thursdays this month will be May 14th and 28th from 2 - 4 PM at the back door.
Watch the News Journal for items needed. Remember, we are all volunteers, be kind and patient.

Good morning. We wanted to pass this along. We appreciate all your food donations. Lately, some of those have come when no one is at the pantry. Someone left a large bag of items outside the front door on Friday evening and with all the rain Saturday morning, many of those items were damaged beyond what we can use. If no one is there, you can always call (814-725-9777) and a drop off time can be worked out. Again, we are not trying to discourage you but let's work together to get those items to people who can use them. Thank you and have a great day.

I know this is a little late but welcome to March and a new month at the pantry. This month's volunteers are from St. Peter's Lutheran, North East Alliance and the First Presbyterian Church. We are open our normal hours, 9:30-11 on Saturday only. Those with last names beginning A - L are served on March 7 and 21. Those with last names beginning M - Z are served on March 14 and 28. If you cannot make it on your regular day, you MUST contact the pantry (814-725-9777) before Friday so that we can adjust our numbers and you will need the ok from the director. Also, donation days will be Thursday, March 12 and 26 from 2-4 at the back door of the pantry. This month we are asking for 16 oz peanut butter but all current donations will be accepted. Good morning. Just a reminder that this Saturday is the 5th Saturday of the month and the Food Pantry is closed. We reopen next Saturday, February 7 serving those with last names beginning with A - L. Watch this space.
