We have some Similac, jarred baby food and cereal at the pantry that we would like to help anyone who can use it. You do NOT have to be a client of ours to receive these items. Right now, we have a limited number of families with babies who use the pantry but we know there are many of you out there who may be struggling and could use some help. You can some on our distribution times on Saturday (9:30-11), call us (814) 725-9470, or message us here to set up a time to meet. Again, this is open to anyone who can use it.

Good morning. This week we start the month of May at the pantry. You will be served by Immanuel Methodist Church and other volunteers who are stepping in to help. Our hours remain the same, 9:30-11:00 AM. The service dates also remain the same: If you last name begins A - L you are served the 1st and 3rd Saturday. If you last name begins M - Z you are served the 2nd and 4th Saturday. If you are not able to make your scheduled date due to illness, emergency, etc., please make every effort to call the pantry before Friday so that we can pack extra bags if needed ahead of time when you do get served. Our number is 814-725-9777. Donation Thursdays this month will be May 14th and 28th from 2 - 4 PM at the back door.
Watch the News Journal for items needed. Remember, we are all volunteers, be kind and patient.

Good morning. We wanted to pass this along. We appreciate all your food donations. Lately, some of those have come when no one is at the pantry. Someone left a large bag of items outside the front door on Friday evening and with all the rain Saturday morning, many of those items were damaged beyond what we can use. If no one is there, you can always call (814-725-9777) and a drop off time can be worked out. Again, we are not trying to discourage you but let's work together to get those items to people who can use them. Thank you and have a great day.

I know this is a little late but welcome to March and a new month at the pantry. This month's volunteers are from St. Peter's Lutheran, North East Alliance and the First Presbyterian Church. We are open our normal hours, 9:30-11 on Saturday only. Those with last names beginning A - L are served on March 7 and 21. Those with last names beginning M - Z are served on March 14 and 28. If you cannot make it on your regular day, you MUST contact the pantry (814-725-9777) before Friday so that we can adjust our numbers and you will need the ok from the director. Also, donation days will be Thursday, March 12 and 26 from 2-4 at the back door of the pantry. This month we are asking for 16 oz peanut butter but all current donations will be accepted. Good morning. Just a reminder that this Saturday is the 5th Saturday of the month and the Food Pantry is closed. We reopen next Saturday, February 7 serving those with last names beginning with A - L. Watch this space.

Happy New Year!! Here we go into 2026. This month at the pantry, you will be served by St. Paul's Lutheran, Holy Cross Episcopal and Orchard Beach Assembly. We will be open on Saturday, January 3 from 9:30-11 serving those with last names beginning A - L. Please make every effort to show up on the correct day. If for some reason you cannot make it, you MUST call the pantry by Friday before to get your distribution changed. Donation Days are also starting again this month. The pantry will be open for donations on Thursday, January 8 from 2-4PM. The need this month is for canned peaches, pears and mixed fruit. We look forward to serving you in the coming year.

Merry Christmas! This is just a reminder that the Food Pantry will be closed this coming Saturday, December 27th. We start back with our regular schedule on Saturday, January 3. We will serve those with last names beginning A - L on that day from 9:30-11.
Also, our donation days start again on Thursday, January 8 from 2-4 PM. The need this month is for canned peaches, pears and mixed fruit.

Good morning. This is a reminder that Saturday, December 20 we will be serving everyone, last names A - Z. We have adjusted our hours and will be serving 9:30 - 12:00 noon. This is different than normal and we ask that you be patient and you will be served. We will resume our normal distribution day and hours on January 3, 2026. We wish for you a very Merry Christmas and a joyous and better New Year.

Good afternoon. Here we go into December and the Food Pantry schedule for this month is changing slightly. Saturday, December 6, we will be serving those with last names beginning A - L. Saturday,
December 13, we will be serving those with last names beginning
M -Z. Saturday, December 20 we will be serving ALL clients, last names beginning A - Z. Our hours that day will be 9:30-12:00. That day only. The pantry will be CLOSED on Saturday, December 27 for our volunteers to enjoy the Christmas holiday. We will re-open on Saturday, January 3, 2026 on the regular schedule. This month you will be served by Lakeview Church of God and Park United Methodist Church. Donation Days will also resume in January.

Good morning. This weekend is the annual Sugar Plum Saturday and the Food Pantry is taking part this year. We will be set up inside at Park United Methodist Church from 11-4. This is a chance for you to check out the pantry, ask questions, get some information, make a donation (cash or food) or just say hello. We hope to see many of you out for the day.

Good afternoon, this is just a reminder that the pantry is CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, November 29. It is the 5th Saturday of the month and we are always closed on that day.
