Good morning and blessed Sunday! For those of you who would like to worship with us online this morning, the livestream for the worship service will be available around 10:25am by accessing our website (www.blcne.com/worship/) or YouTube (https://youtube.com/live/zrAkA1O3V6Y).

You are loved. You are enough. You are welcome here. Join us for worship as we sing, pray, and hear God's word. Though Jesus was a devout Jew who practiced his faith, he was criticized for eating with tax collectors and sinners—the religiously nonobservant. Jesus criticizes the self-righteous and reminds us that mercy is to be at the heart of our religious practices. God continues to be made known in those on the margins of society, like Matthew the tax collector and the hemorrhaging woman. As we gather each Lord’s day we receive the healing that makes us well and sends us forth to be signs of God’s mercy for the world. (Sundays and Seasons)

**Don't be surprised if you have to refresh the page as you get close to 10:25. If there are technical problems, do not worry. As soon as worship is done, we'll post the final link to worship on Facebook so you can watch it whenever you want for the rest of the day and week.

Our faith clings to the promises God offers us. In Jesus, you are loved and you are enough. Nothing can separate us from God’s love!

From the Dead Sea Scrolls to a walk through Nazareth to Luther’s German translation of the Bible, we saw it all. What a great day of learning and fellowship as we joined members from St Philip’s, Wilmington for an adventure at the Museum of the Bible!

You are loved. You are enough. You are welcome here. Join us for worship as we sing, pray, and hear God's word. Though the word trinity is not found in the scriptures, today’s second reading includes the apostolic greeting that begins the liturgy: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In the gospel Jesus sends his disciples forth to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. More than a doctrine, the Trinity expresses the heart of our faith: we have experienced the God of creation made known in Jesus Christ and with us always through the Holy Spirit. We celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity in word and sacrament, as we profess the creed, and as we are sent into the world to bear witness to our faith. (Sundays and Seasons)

What does it mean to belong? Join Pastor Zach for this week’s children’s sermon to talk about the amazing good news that we belong to God. In his last words in Matthew’s gospel, Jesus tells us to go out into the world, make disciples, teach the faith, and baptize in the name of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While we share the good news, we cling to the promise that Jesus is with always until the end of the age. In Jesus, you are loved and you are enough.

On Memorial Day, we remember and give thanks for those who have served in the military and sacrificed their lives for the sake of justice, peace, freedom and the well-being of our country, other nations and people who suffer oppression and injustice in the world.

You are loved. You are enough. You are welcome here. Join us for worship as we sing, pray, and hear God's word. Pentecost derives its name from the Jewish festival celebrating the harvest and the giving of the law on Mount Sinai fifty days after Passover. Fifty days after Easter, we celebrate the Holy Spirit as God’s presence within and among us. In Acts the Spirit arrives in rushing wind and flame, bringing God’s presence to all people. Paul reminds us that though we each have different capacities, we are unified in the Spirit that equips us with these gifts. Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit on his disciples, empowering them to forgive sin. We celebrate that we too are given the breath of the Holy Spirit and sent out to proclaim God’s redeeming love to all the world. (Sundays and Seasons)

Don't forget to WEAR RED tomorrow. It's Pentecost and tradition is to wear red, as we celebrate the Holy Spirit coming among us so that we can have a God’s presence among us so that we do the work of the church: share the gospel and care for our neighbors.

Confusion gives way to understanding. Join Pastor Zach for this week’s children’s sermon to hear how on Pentecost the Holy Spirit comes to amaze and perplex us so we can share and celebrate God’s love together. God’s Spirit blows through the church to make Jesus’ presence known among the world God so loves. In Jesus, you are loved and you are enough.

You are loved. You are enough. You are welcome here. Join us for worship as we sing, pray, and hear God's word. In these days between Ascension and Pentecost, we gather with the disciples in the upper room, waiting for the Spirit to transform the church around the world. In today’s gospel Jesus prays for his followers and for their mission in his name. Amid religious, social, and economic divisions, we seek the unity that Jesus had with his Father. Made one in baptism, we go forth to live our faith in the world, eager for the unity that God intends for the whole human family. (Sundays and Seasons)
