Truth

The sermon may still be fresh in your mind…

Maybe something stood out.

Maybe a verse hit differently.

Maybe there was a moment when you thought: “Lord, I needed to hear that.”

And before the busyness of another week begins, maybe there’s another question worth asking:

⚠️ What am I going to do with what I heard?

👉 Is there something God convicted me about?

👉 Something I need to surrender?

👉 An apology I need to make?

👉 A conversation I’ve been avoiding?

👉 Something Scripture showed me that I know needs to look different in my life?

Because if I’m not careful, I can leave church encouraged, think about the message for a day or two…

and by next Sunday, be ready for another sermon without ever responding to the last one.👀

There’s nothing wrong with being eager to learn more. We should be!

‼️ But sometimes we don’t need another page of notes nearly as much as we need to put into practice what God has already shown us.

James 1:22 reminds us not to merely listen to the Word, but to do what it says.📖

So before today’s message becomes next Sunday’s forgotten notes:

Don’t just remember what you heard.
Ask God to help you live it. 🤎✝️

Sunday Sept. 13th 10:30 am – Back 2 Church Sunday – Do you have friends or family who have not been attending church, or who used to attend here? This week we want you to pray for them to get back into church and invite them to join you here Next Sunday. We will have a gift for the person who brings the most visitors with them!
