Congratulations to John Driscoll, a graduating senior and Treasurer of NCSA on his Leadership Award for his role in Catholic Campus Ministry!

Here is what was said about John. " John is a senior Mathematics major—someone who just might prove the Riemann Hypothesis one day, or tackle whatever other “impossible” problem comes his way.

He joined the Newman Catholic Student Association four years ago and was quickly—perhaps strategically—asked to serve as treasurer (the perks of being a math major). But John didn’t just accept a role; he embraced a mission. Over the years, he has served as Treasurer, Peer Minister, and a peer leader for our NOVUS first-year program. He has also been a dedicated team leader for our Charis Retreats.

More than titles, John has helped build the Newman House into a vibrant, welcoming community for UMass Dartmouth students and young adults across the Diocese. His leadership has been steady, generous, and deeply rooted in faith.

John leads with quiet confidence. He never seeks the spotlight, yet he is always the first to step up when someone needs help. He serves with joy, humility, and a genuine love for others. In every way, he lives his Catholic faith authentically and consistently.

We will miss him greatly, but we are incredibly grateful for all he has given.

John, thank you—and congratulations on a truly well-deserved honor.
