Maronite Servants of Christ the Light

Maronite Servants of Christ the Light To radiate the Light of Christ as spiritual mothers in service to our Maronite Catholic Church.

The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light are the spiritual mothers of the parish taking the Mother of God as their inspiration. Through our prayers, sacrifice, outreach and maternal presence we serve God’s people and seek to radiate Christ the Light. The Maronite Servants are faithful to the prayer, spirituality, theology and asceticism of the Maronite Syriac Antiochene tradition founded by Saint

Maron. The Maronite Church is one of the Eastern Catholic Churches which has faithfully preserved a strong union with the Holy Father.

Today in the Maronite Church we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi — The Body of Christ. We are so blessed to receive Jesus, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Holy Mysteries/Eucharist every time we attend the Divine Liturgy. “He called the bread his living body, and he filled it with himself and his Spirit… He who eats it with faith, eats Fire and the Spirit.”
— St. Ephrem the Syrian

Sister Emily Mary answers the question: Can sisters in our convent visit their families? The short answer is yes! Listen to hear more about our rule of life and why we go to visit our loved ones. It truly is a gift to serve as a religious sister and be able to also visit our families.
