UMass D D'sword Gospel Choir

UMass D D'sword Gospel Choir This is a student based organization where we gather to sing praises to the Lord. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 in CVPA room 105..

We share the same interests and purpose, which is to reach out to young souls on campus. Divine Sacred Word Gospel Choir (D'Sword) was founded in 2006 by two friends from UMass Dartmouth, Minoucheka Frejuste and Josmanie Weche. The choir started with ten members and has continued to grow. Their mission and abbreviated name (D'Sword) was derived from a biblical text in the book of Hebrew chapter 4

vs 12 that states that the word of the Lord is active and is like a sharp edge sword. Therefore, D'Sword ministers through gospel music to pe*****te through people's hearts, minds and souls in order to bring people to Christ and change lives.
