Domestic violence is more than physical violence. It can include threats, harassment, putting someone down, pressuring someone around s*x, controlling finances, and other tactics to gain power and control.

According to the CDC, about 1 in 3 women and about 1 in 4 men in the United States report having experienced severe physical violence from a partner in their lifetime. But domestic violence can impact anyone, from all backgrounds and walks of life. Domestic violence isn't just scary — it can be dangerous, even deadly.

Only 23 years old. A mother of 3. She made her final post before taking her life.

She asked for her sons to wear pink because “real men wear pink.” She was tired. She was hurting. And she was ignored.

Mothers are struggling. Postpartum is real. Depression is real. Too many women are suffering in silence because they feel no one will listen.
