This week in Deuteronomy, Moses pauses before Israel enters the Promised Land and retells their story. He keeps repeating one word: remember.

Before stepping into something new, the people are called to look back...to remember who God is and what He has done.

Why do you think remembering matters before moving forward? Has looking back at God’s faithfulness ever helped you take your next step with more courage?

We’d love to hear your thoughts below 💬

This week in Numbers, we read the story of Balaam, a prophet hired to curse Israel. But instead of cursing them, he ends up blessing them. Again and again, what was meant for harm is turned into something good.

It’s a reminder that even when circumstances feel uncertain (or even hostile), God is still at work behind the scenes.

Have you ever experienced something that felt negative or frustrating at the time, but later became an unexpected blessing? What changed your perspective?

We’d love to hear your story below!

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent.

Ash is a reminder both of our fragility as humans - ashes to ashes, dust to dust - as well as an ancient symbol of repentance for sin. Because Harbor, we've all missed the mark.

But we also serve a God who, no matter how far we've wandered, invites us to return to him because he is gracious and merciful and ABOUNDING in steadfast, everlasting love.

As we start into the Lent this year, we encourage you to reflect - where might you be missing the mark in this season? And where might God be calling you to come back?
