Today was the start of our Faith & Fairness Series! PFC Carlton Bing Jr. of the North Charleston Police Department spoke to our young men and women about their rights. Some of our takeaways were…
1. Don’t argue with the officer on the side of the road. Take the citation and argue in court.
2. The more you talk, you give information that can be used against you later.
3. Just because a store sells it, doesn’t mean it’s legal!
In our simulation below this vehicle was pulled over for a routine traffic stop, but one of the passengers was acting belligerent and had an illegal substance. The attendees learned how to conduct themselves if they are in a situation where their peer is not doing the right thing.
