SE Wildlife Exposition 2026
The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) 2026 is set to be a grand celebration of wildlife art and the great outdoors. Scheduled for February 13-15, 2026, in downtown Charleston, the event will feature a variety of activities and exhibits, including:

Fine Art Exhibitions: Showcases of wildlife art from talented artists.
Live Demonstrations: Opportunities to witness wildlife in action.
Artisan Exhibitors: Handcrafted goods and unique pieces.
Special Events: Including the SEWE Fine Art Gallery, DockDogs competitions, and Center for Birds of Prey demonstrations.

Each winter, thousands of camellia blossoms transforms the Gardens into a breathtaking display of color, beauty, and living history. Join us for special 11:00 a.m. guided Camellia Walks, led by expert guides who bring to life the stories behind Middleton Place’s extraordinary camellia collection.

These walking tours highlight historic and rare varieties along with many other beloved cultivars that flourish throughout the winter season.

Dates

Select Saturdays in January: January 17, 24, and 31
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in February
Tickets & Details

$15 per person, in addition to General Admission
Advance purchase required
Tours are limited to 20 guests for an intimate experience
Tours last approximately 75 minutes
Middleton Place Foundation members receive free General Admission; however, a $15 Camellia Walk ticket is required to participate.

Tickets are non-refundable. Proceeds from the Camellia Walks directly support the preservation and care of the historic camellias at Middleton Place National Historic Landmark. Thank you for helping sustain this treasured winter tradition.

Our first Camellia Garden Club meeting of 2026 will be held Tuesday January 6 at 5:00 PM at the Park Circle Community in North Charleston. Light refreshments will be served.

Our speaker will be Karen Oliver. She is the Horticulture chairman of The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. Her program is titled Tool Girl and she will be demonstrating her favorite tools and accessories, safety tips, and how to garden effectively as we gracefully age.

Our annual dues are due in January.
