Notre Dame Church - North Caldwell, NJ

Notre Dame Church - North Caldwell, NJ Notre Dame was founded in 1962. Fr. John Murphy, the founding pastor had to find land and funds for a new church, rectory and school.

At first a home served as rectory and a temporary site for daily celebration of the Eucharist. Sunday Masses were celebrated in the auditorium of West Essex High School. Notre Dame with attached school was dedicated on May 25, 1965. At that time there were approximately 550 families. The parish has grown to over 1800 families today. In 2002 the rectory was sold and a new modular priest’s residence

was constructed on a knoll to the right of the church. The vacated school building was renovated and became the Notre Dame Parish Center. The parish offices as well as a number of meeting rooms provide needed space for an ever growing parish community.

Scripture Study Summer School is back! Join Fr. Tom and Mike Tedesco in an Introduction to the Writings of St. Paul. Four sessions beginning June 29. Attend any and all sessions. Please see the attached flyer for more details and registration information.

Notre Dame's Youth Group is conducting a summer service project. Consider donating the items they are requesting. All the details can be found in the bulletin.
And, all Youth Group members, don't forget to sign up for service project dates.

Bethlehem Olivewood Handicrafts will be here with their beautiful items for sale after all Masses June 27 and 28.
