NBUMC members are invited to church conference on Sunday, December 11th at 1:00pm to act on the following resolution: 'Whereas North Bucksport United Methodist Church has been located in Bucksport, Maine since its founding in 1795 and has faithfully served God and it's community for many years, after careful prayer, study, and discernment on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at a properly called Church Conference, members will have the opportunity to give thanks to God for the life and history of the NBUMC and vote to declare it closed. ( effective date TBD).'"

Ruth Bunt, who turns 106 on Monday the 26th of September, enjoyed a small party at her home this Sunday with members of her church.
