We had our annual Live Unashamed Golf Tournament at the beginning of this month! It was amazing and God kept the torrential downpour for just after we were done, thankfully.

We could not be more thankful for all who participated and sponsored! It is great that we are able to send more youth to camp! ⛳️

What a wonderful and emotional Sunday celebrating our youth group seniors this year! We still have Summer Sessions and Fuge Camp with them to look forward to before they leave. Thankful for the year we have had and how Pastor Jordan has been showing the importance of who God is and our testimony. Remember to live out your testimony and it should always point back to Him!

✨️ Meet our graduating seniors ✨️

Though not a high school senior, Pastor Jordan has graduated from seminary with his Masters of Divinity. He has been faithfully serving the calling to lead the Unashamed Youth Group for five years! We are so thankful for all the love and teachings of Christ that Pastor Jordan has poured out on his students over the years. His favorite Bible verses are Romans 10:13-15 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news."

We pray God continues to use Pastor Jordan for His purpose and plan!

Ana Stevens has been part of our Unashamed Youth Group for a couple years now! She is a creative, deep-thinking, and wonderful young woman. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 "We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."

We wish Ana well in her future endeavors. She will be missed, but we know God has big plans for her!

Grace Sharrone is newer to our Unashamed Youth Group! Though we haven't known her long, Grace has been sweet, genuine, and joyful every time she's attended. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:25 "Now if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience."

We wish Grace well in her future endeavors. She will be missed, but we know God has big plans for her!

Shaw Garret has been a part of Unashamed Youth Group for a few years! Determined, helpful, and hardworking are just a few adjectives for this young man. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:8 "Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable — if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy — dwell on these things."

Kaiden Breedlove has been a part of Unashamed Youth Group for many years! Rambunctious, friendly, and hype man barely begin to describe this young man. His favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9 "Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

We wish Kaiden well in his future endeavors! He will be missed, but we know God has big plans for him!

The month of January was all about Jesus as King. We do not control our own lives when we become saved, that control belongs to the One True King, Jesus. Yes, submitting and giving up control is hard, but so very worth it! God is in control, even when we feel out of control.

The world may not want a king, but it needs one. The world, including you and me, have but one King who knows us, loves us, and saves us. Mr. Jim gave his testimony at the end of the month, a powerful one that reminded us of a real life realization of who is the only King. We must decide for ourselves who to serve: Christ or sin. Who or what do you serve?

All in one day Jesus calls out Zacchaeus, goes to his house, and responds to this man who desires to turn his life around. That is what is amazing about God's love, it is so very personal. Jesus called out this man by name and went to eat with Him despite how it looked to others. When in Jesus' presence, Zacchaeus desired to make a personal change in his own life. Not only would he no longer swindle anyone anymore, but he would restore to those he had already swindled and give to the poor. When Jesus calls us, He calls us by our name and not our sin. We don't have to do anything to earn His love. When we are saved, we want to do everything for God. Who are lost then become found!
