A few snapshots from our annual Memorial Day chicken BBQ cookout 🇺🇸🍗🥗🌭🥔

It was an afternoon filled with fellowship, remembrance, gratitude and community. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organize this event and make this possible.

Tonight we observe Maundy Thursday with a Tenebrae Service marking Jesus’ Last Supper by sharing Communion.
It helps us identify with the darkness and loss felt by Jesus’ followers as they experienced His death. Candles are gradually extinguished to show the darkness of His betrayal and death with readings and prayer reflecting on sorrow.
At the end, everyone leaves quietly to think and prepare for Good Friday.
