Celebrating the bold and compassionate witness of St. John Chrysostom.

Never one to mince words, he believed that our devotion at the altar must be matched by our devotion to our neighbor. To him, the liturgy didn't end when the doors closed; it continued in the streets, through our generosity to those in need.

His legacy calls us to recognize that the same Jesus we receive in the Eucharist is waiting for us in the person struggling right outside our doors. Let us pray for a heart that is as open to the poor as it is to the Word of God.

As we acknowledge the contributions of workers this Labor Day, may we remember that our own daily efforts are a sacred offering. Whatever we do - our jobs, chores, or any task - we should do it with full effort and dedication. God sees our effort, and He will reward us for striving to best honor and serve Him! 🙏🏼❤️🛠️🧰

This week, we honor St. Teresa of Calcutta (Feast Day: September 5th)!

Mother Teresa’s life was a testament to the power of humble service. While she became a global icon of charity, she never lost sight of the individual. She believed that we don’t need to perform "big" miracles to change the world; we only need to infuse our smallest daily tasks with the love of Christ.

In a world that often measures success by scale and speed, St. Teresa reminds us that holiness is found in the simple act of showing up for the person right in front of us. Let us ask for her intercession today, that we may find the great love needed to serve our neighbors.

The golden hours of summer are slowly fading, and for many of us, life is about to pick up its pace. Whether you’re heading back to school or just feeling the shift in the air, remember that this transition is intentional. 🍂✨

God isn't just the God of our "rest" seasons; He is the architect of our "busy" seasons, too. We don't have to rush into the next chapter: we can walk into it with confidence, knowing He has already prepared the way.

❓ Question for the week: As we prepare to shift gears from summer into fall, what is one thing you’re most grateful for from this past season?

This week, we honor the brilliant mind and powerful convert, Saint Augustine of Hippo (Feast Day: August 28th). 📖

Augustine spent his youth restless and searching for happiness in all the wrong places. Yet, thanks to the endless prayers of his mother, St. Monica, God finally broke through. His life is the perfect story of radical conversion and proof that no one is ever too far from God's reach.

After finding faith, he became a foundational bishop and writer, dedicating his great mind to God. His search ended with this profound truth: "Our hearts are restless until they rest in you, O Lord."

Let us pray through his intercession for the grace to stop searching and finally find our true peace in God, and for the conversion of those we are praying for. 🙏🏼

Happy Monday! Have you ever felt a persistent "restlessness" in your heart, as if you’re searching for a peace that the world just can’t seem to provide? ❤️🌊✨

We often look for fulfillment in our circumstances, our successes, or the people around us, only to find that our hearts remain unsettled.

Scripture points us to the only true destination for that longing.

When we stop trying to fill the void with temporary things and instead turn toward God, we find the stillness we’ve been craving. You don’t have to keep running to find peace; you simply have to turn to the One who created your heart for Himself.

❓ Question for the week: What is one thought or worry you can consciously hand over to God to find rest this week?

This week, we honor St. Rose of Lima, the first saint of the Americas. 🌹

Embracing the belief that patient endurance is the "only true stairway to paradise," Rose lived a radical life of prayer and penance as a Dominican Tertiary, offering her sufferings for sinners and the poor of Lima.

May her fierce, yet gentle, spirit inspire us to endure our own crosses with love, trusting completely in the abundant grace that God pours out upon those who persevere.

St. Rose of Lima, pray for us! 🙏🏼

Happy Monday! This week, we are reminded that our trials are never the end of the story. While seasons of struggle can feel like a heavy burden, they are often the very ground where God’s greatest grace takes root. 🌿✨

Scripture promises that although you may "suffer a little while," the God of all grace is already at work to restore, strengthen, and establish you. Your current challenge isn't a sign of God's absence; it's the place where He is building your foundation.

❓ Question for the week: In what area of your life are you currently waiting for God’s "restoration," and how can you lean into His grace each day this week?
