He must increase; I must decrease.
-Jn 3:30

In Faith and In Marriage
Reflection: The above words were spoken by St. John the Baptist, but in reality, they are the words that must be said by every Christian. "I" or our "ego" must decrease, and God must increase in our lives.
If we first say "yes" to God and allow Him to work through us, we will be better equipped to continue to die to ourselves in order to live for God and our spouse.

Prayer: Jesus, what You ask is difficult but with Your grace we will follow Your will.

Thank God every day for your spouse and each day choose love in your words and actions.

Love is a Choice
Reflection: When we thank God for each other and for the gifts in our life we begin to see life through another lens. Even the inconveniences are viewed differently because God is intimately involved in the details.
Love is a choice that we make every day and how wonderful that we have a new day in order to choose love. Thank You Lord.

Prayer: Jesus, help us to choose love as You chose love every day of Your earthly life.

Reflection: In case we forget that God is on the job 24/7, we are given the reassurance of His unending desire to be with us always. How thoughtful the Lord is to be mindful of our lack of trust in Him.
We may not be ready to leave our earthly home today, but when that day comes, we can be certain that He will welcome us to our true home.

Prayer: Lord God, I thank You for Your constant love and care for me and for the hope I have in my eternal reward in heaven.

Instruct me in the way of your precepts, and I will mediate on your marvelous works.
-Ps 119:27

Reflection: The Rosary calls for a quiet rhythm and a lingering pace, helping the individual to mediate on the Mysteries of the Lord's life as seen through the eyes of Mary.
Thus, the unfathomable riches of these Mysteries are unfolded.

Prayer: O Mary, when I say the Rosary, I meditate on Christ's Mysteries in union with you. Help me to imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise.
