A very happy birthday to our chancellor and dear friend Bishop Jim! May you have many more joy-filled years!

We know that being a pastor is often a lonely, challenging profession juggling the needs of parishioners, staying true to the Gospel, listening for the still small voice of God, moving forward even when frightened, providing spiritual guidance to everyone who calls, celebrating the sacraments and maintaining a strong parish, but our pastor also is caring for his own family.

Monsignor Jim is a dedicated leader with compassion, wisdom, and integrity, as well as someone who sacrifices much to minister and care for us.

A bishop is about to be born in Latin America, and we need your help to make it happen.

Bishop-Elect David Castro serves in one of the most impoverished areas of Argentina. He has been called to the episcopate and will be consecrated to the office of Bishop in Colombia. The problem is getting him there.
