We are excited to welcome home the Anchor Church family! Today, Anchor’s Covenant Members unanimously decided to merge back with Hope Church Augusta. Almost 4 years ago, Hope had the privilege of sending Anchor out into the CSRA as a new church plant. During that time, God used Anchor powerfully to make disciples of Jesus. Because we still feel everyone needs an Anchor and that Hope is always possible, we’re joining together as one NEW family. Together, we will lead people to passionately follow Jesus and make Him visible in every place God gives us influence. We are stronger and better together! A couple of weeks ago, Pastor Brandon continued our Acts series with a powerful message from Acts 20:17–38 titled “The Heart of a Shepherd.” 🐑💛

In one of the most emotional and instructive moments in Acts, we were reminded of what truly matters:
✨ Living well
🧭 Leading faithfully
🛡️ Guarding the flock
🏁 Finishing the race

Pastor Brandon challenged us with this truth: What you build with your life is determined by what you’re willing to give away.

🏕️✨ Each night got better and better—and Night 5 truly lived up to the hype! 🎉🔥

Last night, we wrapped up our amazing week learning all about serving one another, diving into Acts 2:42–47 — The Believers Share Their Lives Together. 📖❤️

We connected this final piece of the puzzle back to our Basic Truth:
I should treat others the way I want to be treated. 🌲💛

We hope your kids have learned so much about how to Live It Out and Love Like Jesus this week. And even more, we hope you’ve all grown deeper together through those meaningful conversations at home.

✨ One final key question to talk about today:
👉 What are ways that we can serve one another?

It’s hard to believe our week of VBS is already over, but this doesn’t have to be the end! ❤️

🏕️✨ Night 4 was the BEST night yet! Can you believe tonight is our LAST night of VBS?! 😱🎉

Last night, we learned that we should pray for one another and dug into The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13). 🙏❤️

How sweet is it to know you have friends who pray for you? 💛 This tied right back to our Basic Truth:
I should treat others the way I want to be treated. 🌲

🏕️🌟 Night 3 was another fantastic night at VBS! 🎉🔥

It’s hard to believe we’re already over halfway through our week of fun, faith, and friendship! ⛺❤️

Last night, we learned all about forgiving one another by exploring God’s love for us (1 John 4:9–12 and John 18–20). We kept connecting our story and bottom line back to our Basic Truth: I should treat others the way I want to be treated. 🌲💛

✨ We hope you’ve been talking with your kids about what they’re learning and diving deeper together at home. If you haven’t yet, today’s the perfect chance!

🏕️🌞 Round 2 was SO much fun last night! 🎉🔥

We’re loving getting to know everyone more and more as the week goes on! ❤️

Last night we learned all about being kind to one another as we explored the story of Little Children Are Brought to Jesus (Mark 10:13–16). 👧👦✝️

We’re continuing to focus on our Basic Truth: I should treat others the way I want to be treated. 🌟

Yesterday we focused on loving one another by studying the story of Jesus Washing the Disciples’ Feet (John 13:1–17). 🧺👣
