🎶 A new name. The same mission.

The National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) is now the National Association of Catholic Church Musicians (NACCM)!

As we make the transition, you’ll begin seeing our Boston Chapter page and communications updated with the new NACCM - National Association of Catholic Church Musicians - Formerly NPM name and branding.

A few things to know:

✨ Nothing changes with your membership. Your benefits, account access, programs, resources, and support all continue uninterrupted.

🌐 Both the NPM and NACCM websites will remain available during the transition.

📧 Our Boston Chapter email isn’t changing yet! Continue to reach us at [email protected] through the end of the year. And don’t worry — that address will continue to work even after we transition to our new NACCM email address.

📱 If you notice a new name on our page, it’s still us! We’re simply updating our chapter presence to reflect our new national name.

Our name is changing, but our commitment to supporting Catholic musicians and building community here in the Archdiocese of Boston remains the same. 🎶

Welcome to NACCM Boston! Watch the announcement video and read all about this transition here: https://naccm.org/

Tomorrow, October 6, NPM will officially reveal a new name for our association—marking an exciting next step after 50 years of serving the Church through sacred song and musical leadership.

This evolution honors our rich history while positioning us to welcome future generations of church musicians and better reflect who we are today.

Here's what you need to know:
1. Our focus remains the same. Our core commitment to supporting, forming, and advocating for liturgical musicians and leaders does not change.
2. Your membership, benefits, account access, and resources will continue seamlessly.
3. Watch your inbox at 9:00 am Eastern Time on October 6 for the full announcement, complete with our new name, visual identity, and vision for the future.

Thank you for your faithful service to the liturgy and our community. We look forward to taking this momentous step forward together.

With gratitude and in song,
The NPM Board of Directors
