🙏🏾 Eternal God,

When we find ourselves despairing the state of the world and disappointed and fearful of violence and suffering, draw near to us.

Surround us, and all who suffer, with your love.

We know that your presence does not mend immediate needs, that our prayers for peace may sound too simple, yet we say both over and over.

We believe that you respond in ways we do not see. We believe that in saying the words, we speak of a future worth imagining.

Send peace to this world God. Draw near to us and all who are suffering. Amen

🙏🏾 God,

May we come together and address the needs of the poor, the disadvantaged, the lonely and the forgotten not only here but around the world.

May we realize that our mere existence is a gift given to us from God, and that we must address our actions that are destroying our planet. May we remain true to our faith that the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice. Amen.

🙏🏾 I pray that there will be justice for those who are innocent and most vulnerable.
I pray for God’s justice where there is injustice.
I pray for all the wrongs to be made right.

🙏🏾 Abba, I come with sighs too deep to name.

Open our eyes where we’ve caused harm; break through our blindness and turn our hearts back to You-the One who sees, loves, and restores.

Awaken what is numb, revive what has withered, soften what has grown cold.

Rekindle Your Spirit’s fire within us.

Have mercy for the ways we’ve failed Your heart.

Jesus, help us return, repent, rise up, and walk in Your mercy and justice, Amen.

Local estimates suggest that about 1 in 7 residents may struggle with access to food. That’s not just a statistic. That’s our neighbors, classmates, coworkers, and friends.

🙏🏾 God,

I pray for 2026:
For those living under war, laws that criminalize love, oppression that whispers they are less than human.

For voices silenced, stories ignored, bodies policed, and communities erased; for children taught violence is normal, compassion weak.

For myself, that I may remember kindness is not soft, but a courageous, beautiful force.

May I carry it, speak it, live it, every act of love, mercy, protest, solidarity, care, and witness a prayer.

To do justice. To love kindness. To walk humbly. To see, protect, and celebrate all God’s people. Amen.

🙏🏾 Almighty Creator,

Fill our hearts with the discernment to see through the vanity of manufactured images.

We pray that you pour the love of Christ into those who pretend to be you, reminding those in power that true authority is found in practicing your teachings: to heal society, end war, and provide food and shelter for all.

Grant us the wisdom to reject the artificial and follow the true path of the Servant. Amen.
