WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL THOSE WORKING HARD ON THE FRONTLINES...we pray that the Lord protects nurses, doctors, police officers, firefighters, EMTS, ambulance drivers and all those working in hospitals and medical facilities! AND WE PRAY THAT A CURE IS FOUND SOON! And God bless those St. Agnes Graduates who are doing their part to keep us all safe and healthy!

Thankful this Tuesday! We are so proud of graduate Joanna Vitale ‘15 who is on the front lines helping to protect and serve us. Joanna just became an RN and is working at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. On her days off she is doing the drive thru testing to help keep us safe. 💙 Today we thank all of the nurses, doctors, medical staff, first responders, pharmacy workers, grocery store workers, delivery drivers, and restaurant workers who are showing up and taking care of us so we can stay home and take care of each other. 💙 If you are a St. Agnes graduate and you are out there battling this pandemic, let us know and send us a pic so we can say THANK YOU💙

Each week throughout the covid-19 crisis, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) will post a simple reflection that can be used by individuals and/or groups. Here is this week's reflection.

Each Monday throughout the covid-19 crisis, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) will post a simple reflection that can be used by individuals and/or groups. In each reflection we will pose some questions intended to help us be conscious of the transformation occurring within ourselves, our communities, the nation, and the global community as we live through the pandemic. The questions will invite us to be attentive to what we are experiencing around us and within us in relation to this greater transformation. The first reflection is Welcome All That Arrives. We welcome you to pray and reflect with us.https://lcwr.org/sites/default/files/news/files/march_23_-_welcome_all_that_arrives.pdf

Here is a beautiful reflection on gratitude during this stressful time.

Gratitude is not a panacea, it may not cure or solve our anxiety or concerns but it can foster ease, connection, kindness, and well-being – all valuable qualities which would be good to “go viral” these days...

Wondering how you can be helpful in this time? There is a need.

Wondering how you can be helpful in this time? There is a need.

As of 3/16/20, we have temporarily paused the daily hot meal at the Mary Brennan soup kitchen and will be handing out bag lunches to those in need of a meal. In addition to restricting the number of people in our building at once, we simply don't have enough volunteers to serve a full hot meal to hundreds of guests each day. If you have the capability to pick up extra items on your essentials runs, here is a list of what we desperately need to serve bag lunches to guests each weekday until further notice. Thank you!
