St. Augustine spent years searching for truth, love, and fulfillment before finally surrendering his heart to God. His life reminds us that no journey is too long for grace and that each of us is called to holiness.
In our own world, we can so easily seek fulfillment in material things, success, possessions, pleasures, and things that quickly pass away. Yet none of them can satisfy the deepest longing of the human heart. We were created for something greater, we were created for God.
As Augustine discovered, our hearts will remain restless until they find their rest and the fullness of love in Him.

San Agustín pasó años buscando la verdad, el amor y la plenitud antes de finalmente entregar su corazón a Dios. Su vida nos recuerda que ningún camino es demasiado largo para la gracia y que todos estamos llamados a la santidad.
También hoy podemos buscar nuestra felicidad en las cosas materiales, el éxito, los bienes, los placeres y tantas cosas pasajeras. Pero nada de ello puede satisfacer el anhelo más profundo del corazón humano. Fuimos creados para algo más grande: fuimos creados para Dios.
Como descubrió San Agustín, nuestro corazón permanecerá inquieto hasta encontrar en Él su descanso y la plenitud del amor.
